on a GPRS network, customers will be able to sign for deliveries
on hand held PDA screens.
With the signed documents updating the central system, this
information is immediately available for proof of delivery.
This system greatly reduces the current flow of paperwork from
the warehouse to the customer’s location and back again
for filing. Staffing time to retrieve files and answer queries
is minimal, as all PoD documents can be stored centrally for
queries from any location.
